Button Pop

Lagos wahala is too much jare. The hustle is not a small something. On my way to my #2500 job this morning, i noticed that i was getting a lot of stares. I was kinda happy with it at first, because i thought my supposedly flawless make up was the attraction.
But then, i also wondered why nobody
had complimented me when I had left home or when I had been walking out of my street. The stares only started after I had hustled one bus and one bike with one more bus to go. I stopped to buy puff-puff at the junction(man must survive), when a sneering tout looked me and said "Aunty, cover your breast," I looked at my chest and realized that the button of my shirt had popped, and  was onto some free show. I quickly held my shirt together and went around in search of a tailor. After a long search, I found one, who told me that she only had a yellow button to use on my black shirt that has silver buttons. So holding a wrapper to my chest, i waited for my shirt to be fixed. Unfortunately, and old woman was seated in the shop and she launched into a lecture about how young people this days did not know how to do things appropriately. About how wrong the dress sense was, and blah blah blah. She went ahead to ask me why i was wearing a shirt that was cheap and had caused me such embarrassment, after all I was working. So i was spending my money on men instead of buying good clothes abi? She kept ranting till i paid the Tailor ( who i cursed in my head for charging #100, knowing that I had no choice). I simply smiled and left to shop and rushed to work. By the time i alighted from the bus at the bus-top to the office, another button had popped. I had to walk several streets with one hand clutching my shirt, the other holding my bag before i found a place to buy safety pin. Now I'm in the office looking like a confused person with my not-very-good make-up, a black shirt decorated with silver buttons, a yellow button and a safety pin.

I wish it had turned out this sexy :(
I think I need me some wardrobe allowance. But I won't let that destroy my good mood. After all, Cocoa is still shocolate and Falz is still the badt guy.
Have a great day y'all!
