We all went for a party which was crazy fun. We got home
around 1.am and having danced a lot and had so much to drink, we all went
straight to bed.
The next morning, Koko’s incessant loud barking woke us up. It
was 9.am, and she had not gone out for her toilets (of course not a standard
toilet, but due to proper training, she never pooped nor pee-ed around the
house. She was taken out every morning and evening), so she was very restless. Emmanuel
had to get out of bed to take her out. None of us girls came out of our rooms. The
barking did keep us awake but we dared not step out, especially now that she
was in a foul mood. We heardthe sound of the main door unlocking and sighed a collective breath of relief. We went back under the covers and slept soundly. When we finally came out of our rooms hours later, Koko was getting head rubs from everyone, that is, everyone that could touch her. Apparently, on our way back from the party, Kola’s car bumper (which we rode in) had fallen off. We all had no memory of how that happened. We agreed on blaming portholes. After Koko had done her toilets, she sniffed the ground till 3 streets away where a breathless and confused Emmanuel had found her going in circles by the bumper. He recognized it and brought it home. None of us even noticed that the bumper fell off.
